I wanted to write a blog post after a couple of stressful days in my personal life… I have finally left “Er Indoors” and it was quite upsetting this morning when I did go finally, it’s not something I wish to repeat – EVER! Yesterday was even worse, packing what was left of my gear sorting out stuff to take/throw away in front of her, partly my fault for not doing it sooner or whilst she was away on Friday… and have you ever had to pack in front of someone you had lived with for 14 years? OMG… I had just hoped she would go out and leave me to get on with it but she stayed and watched, it was horrendous! So I left this morning with a very full carload of my remaining stuff which I had hoped the neighbours did not see for her or my embarrassment… though I suspect the curtains were twitching furiously from the nosey one opposite that needs a damned good spanking, but I was past caring. So I won’t bore you with it… today is “Day 1” at my place in Plymouth… and Plymouth being what it is (the city has rebranded itself as Britain’s only “Ocean City” – my meaning on this is that it is open to the elements!). So my hometown welcomed me back with Atlantic gale force winds and driving rain with the promise of more severe shitty wintry weather to come that I detest with a vengeance (I can handle the cold, I can handle snow and the snow storms… but I just can not handle rain). British rain is the most depressing and unique of of all!
