I will be updating my next blog post with a stunning new girl to the SG Group of sites (check bottom of this post for a sneak preview image from my cameraphone). As you may also know, Sarah’s original sites are undergoing a server change right now and it has been hell as the original hosting company are not exactly co-operating with the quick transfer of data as seemlessly as one would expect. There may be some issues in the short term so I am just advising you if anything does happen, write to her or my gmail address as we will try to advise where possible. She can’t really add new data to the site as it could get wiped in the transfer to the new server then it would have to be re uploaded (again). It’s just niggling stuff like this. I always liken server transfers or upgrades to the hassles of moving house. It’s a stressful experience but one that sometimes just has to be done as her sites have over 1Tb of content and have outgrown her current hosting needs! SGS & Momma go first, followed by AAA and this blog.You can check here for any news updates in case her sites were to go down for a few hours (this might happen or your codes might need to be refreshed/CCbill contacted to re add their permissions etc). This would not take long if the problem did happen, so this is just a “Heads Up” if there is an issue. Don’t worry… Contact the email addresses we use and she or I will help you guys out ASAP!
