Why do people put up with such mediocrity all the way to brutality from their govrnments? Is there no social/economic/political system in this world that really works for the majority of the people anywhere? There’s two ways this world can go: either we cave in too the fundamentalsits worldwide who want to keep us in the Bronze age religiously and politically, or we do something about this world and wind up with a progressive world like what we see in “Star Trek” in the future.
