FEMINIST PORN MAKER THRASHES CENSOR

Pandora Blake, award-winning activist and feminist pornographer, has won her appeal to Ofcom against ATVOD and can reinstate her site Dreams of Spanking, which was banned under the AVMS guidelines in August 2015, triggering widespread anger among free speech advocates as well as porn fans.
The controversial Audiovisual Media Services Regulations came into effect in December 2014, banning consensual sex acts from online porn including facesitting, female ejaculation, and spanking that leaves marks. Pandora Blake took part in the ‘facesitting protest’ outside Westminster, and also spoke on Newsnight and Women’s Hour challenging the sexist and regressive nature of the regulations. She believes that speaking out made her a target for censorship.
ATVOD – the Association for TV on Demand – were tasked with regulating online porn in 2010. While porn critics often focus on the ‘mainstream’ industry, ATVOD made a point of targeting independent niche and fetish porn producers, including a disproportionate number of female filmmakers. In January 2016, Ofcom shut down the quango amid rumours that it was acting beyond its remit.
Pandora Blake said, “The point of Dreams of Spanking was to make ethical porn based on my own fantasies. I’m not ashamed of being kinky and there’s no harm in adults sharing consensual BDSM films. The AVMS regulations effectively criminalised my sexuality. I was singled out because I criticised the new laws. ATVOD tried to shut me up, but they failed.”
“Now I’ve won my appeal I feel vindicated. It proves that it’s worth standing up to bullies. The war against intrusive and oppressive state censorship isn’t over, but this decision is a landmark victory for feminist porn, diversity and freedom of expression.”

Pandora said on Twitter that Dreams Of Spanking will re-open for business as soon as she gets things sorted out with her credit card processor: “Hopefully CCBill will reactivate my credit card processing soon & I can re-open the full site again!”

This is awesome news! Seriously… Well done to Pandora… I was in no position to fight and I can briefly explain why below (it is complicated and there is no point in discussing it further but I would still like to say a few things).

I did actually receive a generic ATVOD email written to “webmaster” most probably before anyone mid way through December 2014, which I remember well… and read the email with Paul Kennedy since we were shooting content together at the time. I was pretty upset but then also pissed off by the apparent lack of respect and bully boy tactics, addressing it “Webmaster” – they couldn’t even be bothered to write it to me personally or find out who I really was!
Anyway, in the UK, a woman making and producing “porn” would ALWAYS receive a better public empathy than a male – it is sexist but still sadly true. The UK is a bit like that, we still have an obsession with class… our values in many other things are rather “vintage” too! I had been travelling to the USA and UK a lot anyway and was planning on having Sarah take more control as we had helped each other and become a closer team. This just helped speed things along, same with Paul and many other producers I know. We had all discussed it, those that we know… The Gutter Press over here have a nasty habit of calling males who do this sort of activity “perverts” or even “paedos” when it comes to our fantasy of schoolgirl spanking… for example. Trust me, I have tried to interact with some vanillas on this subject about what I did and they equated that to “schoolgirl spanking” to paedophilia… misguided, wrong and horrifying! I am sure my lovely neighbors would not understand either. So for that reason too, I did not stand by and fight since poor Pandora had already been outed (I could be wrong and perhaps about her already being outed, as ATVOD liked to do these things, so perhaps that didn’t matter so much to her). She did the best thing she could, shout out and stand up as a woman fighting for her just cause. I can only imagine the crap, the stress and the hell she has been through. I know I couldn’t do that – I have the utmost admiration for her and I made my choice, which I certainly do not regret since I intend to spend even more time in the USA with Sarah. Results of the UK General Election 2015Well, that was interesting and unforeseen, though analysts are now working out the “Scottish factor” in how it all went so horribly wrong for a couple of major player parties and better for others… but at the midst of it all, Scotland in the UK elections was pivotal to it all. I don’t expect non Brits to fully grasp this or be interested, so again, go to SPANKING STARTS HERE a little below. For the rest of you… here goes: The party I voted for got annihilated in the elections, losing heavily to the Scots in the north and the Conservatives (Tories) throughout England in the south and their heartlands in the south west. the Lib Dems knew it wouldn’t be good (smaller parties that help form coalitions know they will lose badly sometimes) so they were prepared for losses… but I appreciate they did it for the good of the country way back in 2010 when the world seemed a scary uncertain place as a Brit then. It hasn’t been easy, living with Austerity, but I do believe the country got better (considering the alternatives) and didn’t end up like Greece or Spain within Europe which would have been disastrous.

Final standingsIt has been an emotional election, something I doubt Americans or Europeans are even aware or care about! The Scots will be a noisy but largely ineffectual presence in Westminster but they will get more concessions as promised so it will be interesting but as for more instability? – Game over: I can rest a little easier, I suppose. It’s the lesser of 2 evils. I just deleted swathes of paragraphs, this is a spanking blog after all, so just click on the links I have left or the button above if you want to see what happened.

My opinion on the matter no longer counts, the real awful threat I and many had feared has not come to fruition and it would appear this is one reason why the reds of Labour fared so badly in the south and the crucial marginal seats as people chose to stick with the Blue side of the political spectrum whilst punishing the Lib Dems for siding with the Tories in the first place (we all got to have scapegoats, right?) Like it or not, those on the left usually bleat far more, this is democracy in action. Swords have come out and leaders of many opposition parties have fallen on them… we move on. Hi there… this isn’t a new post, I will be getting that to you soon as I have been incredibly busy away from the blog… but it’s worth reading again mainly because it has a ton of free galleries!!!

Producers like myself often have a full set of image and video galleries to help showcase what we’re making to any prospective members! It’s a great tool we use and one which I will quickly use today for a few sites as it also helps me as I only have to post one image and link to it and you yourselves will often be rewarded with a dozen or 2 great preview images and a link or instant play clip too… then it’s up to you, the prospective customer (if you are so interested) to purchase said goodies that have been offered, or in many cases teased to you… that’s how it goes and I make no apologies today to let you know the following galleries are from a site I seem to have not been very helpful in promoting (my stats show no sales whatsoever since their inception and it’s a great shame as it is really a fantastic site). Sunday Feature – Dreams of Spanking

Just one site in today’s post, I hadn’t featured Pandora’s excellent site in a while so here are 2 amazing films, one with my good friends Alex Reynolds & Paul Kennedy at their place in LA… and another featuring an interesting update that Pandora co starred in with her good friend, Adele Haze in an original piece of spank art (more on that in a moment!)

Thanks to harder economic times or just the fact that many of us “rival” producers actually get on when we meet up… we are all collaborating and helping each other far more than say a few years ago. It’s especially true over the past year or so as many more of us working together on shoots can be found socializing at parties and events, either helping out, doing some trade work for each other. This example below sees just that, Paul, Alex and Pandora traded their time to help each other… it’s what I’ve done in the past and sometimes we might hire each other instead. I’m hoping that I can work with Pandora next month when a few of us will meet up in Vegas. That should be fun, it always is. Anyway, I am digressing. I like nothing better than helping out fellow spankos or producers and I know it’s a nice feeling to have that back (example: Paul and I are filming end of this month before we both head back to America) so will be helping each other out – which reminds me I better ask if he needs my lighting and cams… this is how we all work, lol. I do find it amusing to see what the community think of us outside of our little bubble… if only they knew – yet some things should always remain between friends and those we have a lot of time for! I like the suppositions and (often) off the mark guess work I see on Fetlife etc. It’s always nice to meet people at events. Some of them reading this here are members of my site or now just friends because of the parties – thank you!

With the familiar and depressing weather battering Britain from the Atlantic and Day 11 of the repressive Porn Laws sweeping the nation, there are those still under the misunderstanding that the UK is a tolerant and free society. If it wasn’t the depressingly boring dull weather that would push me away then the new amendments/regulations that are set to stifle producers still bravely battling on… afraid that they would get the dreaded letter from ATVOD – the unelected Quango that just want to censor everything to a dull boring gray line where those niche producers of fetishes we so love will face the “comply or die” ultimatum – in fact, such is the niche that they don’t get, complying would be the death of the sites – as other producers outside the UK would easily fill the gap of those killed off. Anyway, I effectively have given my own site to Sarah’s US company… I think I ought to be on my best behavior now, LOL! (Well, I have to try and make light of this ridiculous situation, right?).

This “Weather Bomb” isn’t helping to lift spirits either…

So what is a “Weather bomb”?
You may also notice from looking at the map that there are currently no bigger waves anywhere else in the world as big as those crashing into Britain. The colors denote the height of the waves – with black representing swells of over 48ft and yellow at around 20ft. A weather bomb, also known as an “explosive cyclogenesis”, is classified by a 24 millibar drop in pressure within a 24-hour period. This intense drop in pressure sees dry air from the stratosphere flow into an area of low pressure, which in turn causes air in the depression to rise rapidly, spiral, and create strong storm winds.

Right now, I am so ashamed to be associated with anything British, I am sick of my own country once more… I’m even prepared to put up with one of my most HATED aspects of American society (no wait… 2 aspects).

  1. Their rotten healthcare system that favors only the wealthy and the greedy insurance companies – I know Obama isn’t much liked over his attempt at ongoing healthcare reforms, but he had the right idea… in most European countries we have got the balance (kind of) right… we all accept that we will pay a percentage from our salaries which helps fund a national network, this is pretty much standard in many European countries, but not so in America – because that is left to Insurance Companies – who are ultimately there to serve their shareholders, which means making a vast profit. Personally, I think everyone deserves the right to good basic healthcare, no one should ever worry about seeing a doctor and feel like they are worthless. However, the good ol’ Insurance companies , in their continuing greed to maintain profits for their shareholders, didn’t like this one little bit and have bumped premiums of hard pressed contributors to their healthcare plans and are (rightly) angry as the insurance companies, as I can see it, aren’t willing to give some leeway from their vast fat profits to help those in need or provide basic health plans that actually will give you a good basic cover in case you need medical attention.
  2. My second pet hate is guns! Fucking lethal weapons based on an amendment when The United States was still 13 or so unified colonies on the Eastern seaboard it was one’s right to bear arms… well, wake up, I knwo in Britain we don’t go round abitrarily hanging thieves anymore for stealing loaves of bread, as they once did around the signing of the Declaration of independance circa 1776. Anyway, another disgusting lobby, give a man a gun and he feels empowered, it is a weapon that wants to be used. It settles arguments – quickly, and lethally! It’s not the fucking Wild west… if I can get over these prejudices then I know I will feel fine –  This isn’t America bashing time, far from it, I love being there, I love the country it’s just, no wait… 3 things I most hate!
  3. Fox News. Fucking Fox News – and their ignorant anchors who intervene and I wonder why they bring in so called “experts” on a situation when I have seen them so often talk them down… here’s some news… why not just REPORT it, read it and do not comment on it, that is for us, the discerning viewer to make up our own minds on it. Fucking Fox News…

Anyway, as I was saying, it is not bashing time… I love the USA and for some minor faults, they are far outweighed by the benefits as nothing is perfect, I may come to regret that at some point when I have to endure long New England winters, LOL! Me? I only do snow in ski resorts, where snow has a purpose and is not an annoyance. Now as this is a spanking blog, don’t you think I should get on with reporting on what is new and out there? I will report on all things English (but starting with my American owned site first which has more of an American flavor to it in the newest film, but I think it will annoy the ATVOD prudes anyhow) so let’s start by pissing off my country of birth’s censors should they ever read this. philaeAs I start to write today’s update, the exciting news that the Rosetta mission probe, Philae has (it appears) successfully landed on the Comet P67. Why is this amazing news? Try a soft remote landing 100s of millions of miles away on an unknown surface with little gravity travelling at 40,000 mph and that’s what they did today – it’s about self discovery of comets, many who believe are the life givers of M Class planets like our Earth. Bringing water and building block minerals and molecules to enable life to start in the 1st place! Medical, Intimate & Spanking Fetishes

Pretending to be ill? Even better, “Fetch me my rectal thermometer… and no, it’s too late to say sorry”. This is just a quick update after Crimson Moon – I have massive “Party Drop” – I am staying on for a few days after the CM Party which was amazing. I had already updated my site earlier this week with a new film ahead of my schedule, it’s proving popular and for a good reason since it was the last ever double collaboration with Irelynn Logeen & Leia Ann Woods.
