One giant leap for mankind…I don’t remember those words 40 years ago, as I was only about 5 and my mum and dad woke me up and told me history was in the making, well, it’s now 40 years since that day and I still remember the “Man on the Moon” as my 1st exprience of TV. So here at SpankingBlogg, I salute that milestone, but I somehow won’t be awake at 2:20am (UK time) to make the exact anniversary on the 21st July.

Hope you all had a great weekend, I’m a bit of an aeroplane geek so enjoy watching various airshows here in the UK, and at the weekend there was the 100th anniversary of the Royal Navy in the air with special guest appearances from other nations and included the only flying example of the old nuclear deterrent Britain used in the Cold War, the mighty Vulcan bomber, unique as it had a massive delta shape wing. Retired in 1984 and saw service in the Falklands conflict of ’82, though without nuclear bombs as that had been long surpassed by missiles, she was a grand old bird and it’s just sad that there’s just one example left when there used to be squadrons of the things! Sadly, the bloody thing couldn’t fly due to a brake failure or something so what with the expected British summer weather ruining many a flying display with rain and very low grey cloud cover, value for money was far from my mind!
Yeah, it was a nice day out in the driving wind (sigh) – but the weather really ruined the finale display which on any other day would have been awesome! (see some pics below) (I’ll be getting to the point of this post in a minute, honest)

Now – all these sites at Xerotics.com bill in GB Pounds Sterling, since it’sÂ a UK based companyÂ – however, following the collapse again yesterday, the inter bank rate has hovered around 1GBP + 1.37USD, the lowest rate Sterling has been against the US Dollar this decade (I think). Example: as laid out below, if you were to sign up for a membership costing approx 20 GBP last year it would have been about $40, even more as the Dollar was more than 2 to 1 Pound then. However, now your US bankcard would charge in the region of $27-28!!! That’s a hell of a saving! Credit crunch or no credit crunch, that’s a massive saving some of you across the Pond can NOT ignore!

1st Spanking Post of 2009

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all keeping well as some of us here in the UK shiver in the New Year, I’m sure my Scandinavian, East EuroÂ and North American readersÂ know what we Brits are chattering our teeth to at the moment…brrrr

I thought I’d let you see some pics of my little jolly out on New Year’s Day, I knew that the trees and countryside would be covered in frost (not snow) from freezing fog, whilst I got some great pics, I forgot about an annual event, the Motocross that was really special this year as the bikers had to race in ice cold and rock solid conditions, which they preferred to the usual mud, apparently! Check out the pics below

OK, just wanted to share those with you, below are some of my fave movies that I watched from 2008 earlier today again and as I had found the various galleries or movie clips that promote them, enjoy! Contrary to my esteemed colleague’s reports, I was not arrested, thankfully, for any such misappropriate lewd acts.Â I believe that SpankMaster was referring to one of his brothers’ lascivious pastimes …
Anyway, Me & ‘er Indoors had a great week in Austria, including a dreadful slippering incident for her on the final night!Â She was punished for being drunk and I was fed up with her not skiing enough when we had been up on the slopes.Â Check out the few pics below, I have to say, it was a great little place to go (Zell am See).

I find it amazing that such a pamphlett could exist, if anyone knows about Eric Wildman, he was a campaigner who 10-15 years previously tried to endorse these policies! Yet was considered an outcast! I will have to look up some links for Eric Wildman some time soon, now HE was a strange character indeed!

A genuine 1960s Education Pamphlet from the British Ministry of Education?

As it says, it was intended for use in school, educational establishment and use in the home! OK, it’s not really from the 60’s but I’d like to think it was!Â It covers all variety of discipline fromÂ non corporal (detentions, lines etc)Â to corporal punishments.Â Corporal Punishment was divided into the following very detailed sections (for a pamphlet it was over 60 pages long!)
It included: Spanking, the Ruler, the Switch, Birch, Strap, Compound Punishments, and finally the Cane.
Seriously, it looks so genuine, see the pic of me holding it below as I started to write this.

There’s so much data, so what I’ve done is compress it all into 2 pages of Galleries.
The first covers images from some of the stuff we produced with Katie, new girl Belinda and Miss Smith.
