English & Dutch Role Reversals

Well, Holland may be playing Spain in the World Cup Final on Sunday and the English failed miserably in their worst World Cup placing for an age … but we English DO have something to celebrate…the Referee will be an Englishman, so watch your manners you lot!  (wowee! What a consolation, lol … actually Howard Webb is a very good referee and is no doubt the best guy to boss these players since he knows half of them that play in the English Premier League).

A New Week & New Updates

Ok, I’m not going to say much about our almost disastrous opening game v USA…thanks to butter fingers Robert Green!

It all looked so good when we opened the scoring and were rarely troubled after that apart from that absolute howler from our goalkeeper to gift the Americans a 1-1 draw…fair play, they just about deserved something from the game. To be honest, I’d have taken 1-1 to start with the way our press was doing the side down…but the way we bossed much of the game it’s disappointing that we didn’t win it despite that gaffe and even allowing the USA to almost sneak an undeserved victory at the end. Anyway…the last time we won this competition we started with a draw, so perhaps the omens are looking good!

I’m ill, I’m not feeling well, oh…did I say I’m not my usual tip top self? On top of that, as my nose dribbles onto my keyboard (euwwww!) I saw a really disturbing DVD last night (4th Kind) which is about supposed alien abduction accounts from the town of Nome in Alaska (I’m guessing the tourist council of Nome did NOT fully endorse this movie late last year! LOL) Anyway, as I was alone, in my rural location, I had to admit to being a little freaked myself, feeling vulnerable. There’s an account of an owl, and an evil looking owl at that, that preceded abductees accounts before they were taken (in pure terror I might add) they say the owl watches them through the window, it can be there for an age, then it’s inside then it smiles, and they then know it’s not an owl etc etc (you never get to see the aliens that follow after this event but they get inside your head and they utterly terrifying, sending those that recount it under hypnosis close to insane as the repressed memories are brought back.)
