Good day to you all! Right, I’m off to go watch the European Cup Final this evening (to my American chums, it’s the soccer equivalent of Super Bowl, I guess), more people will be watching this worldwide than the Super Bowl… as English champions Manchester Utd face Spanish champions Barcelona which is being played fortuitously at Wembley, the home of football (soccer). Tickets were a disgraceful £300 per head – that’s about $500+ … and some have gone on the black market for 30 times that value such was the demand! I will be watching it in the pub instead!

As I’m not a fan of either… I do wish that Man Utd do it for England, I’m sure those in Liverpool & Leeds and the blue side of Manchester will not be feeling the same, but it’s sure to be special, these 2 teams are easily the best in Europe and they rightly have earned the chance to play each other in a one off spectacular! For one night only, I’m a Red Devil! 🙂

As I start this post I just see on the news that Osama Bin Laden had been shot dead earlier today by US Special Forces where he was hiding out in his luxury apartment in Pakistan.

I won’t get out my soapbox or witter on for long on this subject but feel I have to have my 2 Cents anyway as this is, of course, a spanking blog but it would be rude of me not to comment as it’s such a big piece of global news after all… First of all, watch out for the possible backlash & reprisals from those upset that this murdering piece of trash got what was coming to him after 9/11 – I still remember watching that 2nd plane crash into the World Trade Center live on TV nearly 10 years ago slaughtering people of every faith and denomination. So what do I personally feel? I don’t feel at all bad in seeing this monster no longer able to draw breath and experience the miracle that is life… If there really is an afterlife or another plane of existence and there is judgement on what we had done after being “self aware” then I am sure this excuse of a human being , like so many other hate mongers and despots before him, might just face some sort of eternal damnation, preferably with metaphorical hot pokers up their existential arses! & so onto lighter matters…. my spanking round up (yay!)

Exclusive 1st Show previews!!!

Ok, I have some interesting behind the scenes facts about this film! St Piran is the patron Saint of Tin miners and Cornwall! Since the other half of my celtic roots are from Cornwall (remember I’m originally from Plymouth… which is on the Devon/Cornwall borders) and those unlucky enough to live in Devon’s tiny capital city, Exeter, berate the Plymothians as being a “Cornish city”… well apart from trying to insult us, they in fact do many of us a favor as I am proud to be associated with all things Cornish!). So “Happy St Piran’s Day” – I believe it is also celebrated somewhere today in California as there were a lot of Cornish tin miners that came over in the 19th century Gold Rush and haven’t been forgotten. So celebrate the day and enjoy a huge “proper ‘ansome” Cornish pasty or “oggie” as we call them!

I was bored yesterday, bored of seeing my football club let me down again at Charlton after an epic win mid week… making me believe in a foolish notion that we may well survive with the few players we have left… I’m bored of the fact the club might go out of business on Feb 9th when it goes before the court for a final winding up petition over unpaid tax to HMRC (The British equivalent of the IRS, to my American chums)… and of course, I’m boring you moaning about this, so I’ll shut up and let you know what cheered me up when I checked out the archives of NorthernSpanking.com instead – I decided to see what some models there had first shot way back and Leia-Ann’s first few scenes were quite memorable as you’ll see below. It’s that time of the year yet again where we wonder what the hell happened to the last one! It’s frightening, isn’t it? I was going to think up something clever and witty but I have a hangover from hell after entertaining guests and family the last few days so will just post a couple of new movies I’ve seen come out as well as provide you good people with some links to more spanking goodness to see in the New Year!

As I write this they’re celebrating New Year in Sydney, Australia… I shall be looking forward to Big Ben in London covered in fireworks pretty soon too!

So where to start? Hard to believe, but I knew it was around this time and checked when I started up the blog and it was 4 years ago today! My how things have changed since I first started…. well, to celebrate this I have scoured this blog’s archives and got some of my fave posts, then at the end I have a few brand new updates to keep this current, so stand by for a mammoth post as I locate and find some memorable posts I enjoyed making and sharing with you over the last few years!

But this year we have had the power of the internet keep in a truly woeful singer of Brazilian origin called “Wagner” thanks to us Brits who don’t always like to see smug self righteous gits like Simon Cowell think he can tell us what he wants… I do admire the guy, he has had a lot of success with his various formats and fair play to the fella, but he should have remembered it’s “panto season” here in the UK…and until Wagner was finally voted off last night by falling into the bottom 2… we had a real panto villain spoiling the vote every week thanks to the various internet campaigns to keep him in…but remember, all those telephone votes are megabucks in Mr Cowell’s generously lined pockets, but you could see the relief of Simon Cowell and the “interesting and fascinating” journey that Wagner had led! OK, why am I wittering on about X Factor and suchlike? Hi everyone, before I go on,  gotta say congrats to Holland who “schpannnked” Brazil in the Quarter Finals of the World Cup this afty, I was watching that and really enjoyed seeing you Dutch guys give one over on the arrogant petulant Brazilians…loved it!
